Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and songwriter. Her family was home-schooled by her mom and her father, in USA. Raised with racial insults, she was made to feel unwanted. When she went to a school competition and received great praise for her performance when she was in the ninth grade the young girl started to grow more confident. She not only gained confidence because of the experience however, she also re-evaluate her career goals. In 1992 she graduated with her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In 1993 she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. However her greatest breakthrough came when she played the part of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway production of Spamalot garnering not only an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. Following that, in 2007, she was cast in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. An accomplished singer She has also recorded songs as well as an extensive work. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
