Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American Actress. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group consisting of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for the best female leading role. This was due to her portrayal as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Sheedy is an American writer and actress. At the beginning of the 80s, she began her career in film with the crime action film Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her first film, she appeared in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best film productions for high school of all time. Even though the film's budget was only $1 million, the film has made more than $50 million. Additionally, she began appearing in various TV shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. It was a show for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Also, she appeared on various shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring an X-Men superhero, that she appears in as in a role as a guest. Sheedy received numerous awards in 2005 for her performances. She was also awarded with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
